What is Hyperhidrosis?


Hyperhidrosis is basically a genetic condition that many people have where their sweat glands are overactive compared to other people. If you find that slight exertion can leave you sweating from every pore and even having a hot drink or a mild curry does the same you probably suffer from hyperhidrosis.

There are many things that effect your body and nervous system that makes your brain send signals to the sweat glands to release fluid for a variety of reasons. What this means is that if you suffer from this condition these signals are acted on in the most extreme way! The sweat glands get to work and overcompensate sending out way more than they need.

The armpits are the common places people sweat from. They are warm, covered and contain LOTS of sweat glands. They are also the place responsible for so much annoyance when it comes to sweat stains as your shirts become soaked unless you wear an undershirt which still may not help or use antiperspirants which often leave dirty great stains on the shirt anyway!

So is there a Home Remedy to Stop Sweating that you can really use and apply and what does a home remedy mean anyway?

Basically a home remedy is just a way to cure something in your own home or using things that you can buy locally. Are There Natural Ways to Stop Sweating


One thing that annoyed me when i first started looking for ways to stop sweating so much was that people were suggesting some pretty crazy alternatives to me. Surgery, electrode shocks and even botox injections to limit or destroy the sweat glands.

Now I was pretty desperate to do something about this condition I had but these just seemed way too harsh. I had had a bad experience with unnecessary surgery before actually and had later found a simple more natural remedy would have sufficed.

So one thing i was looking for In my search for dry underarms, stop sweating cures and a home remedy to stop sweating was that is have a more natural bent as torturing my body did not sound like something i needed!

Got a Sweating Problem? I Did, but not Anymore.

Have you ever had to go to extreme lengths to hide or mask your sweating problem? I know I did. I would forever be searching fort he coolest parts of the office under the fans or air conditioners. I would bring at least 3 handkerchiefs to work and when i went out to wipe my face and I often wore 2 undershirts to stop the sweat stains under the arms.
